Welcome!

- ‘The King and I’ - Rehearsals are over, it’s the real thing now!  This lavish musical production will take place at 7pm on 24/25/26th August and 2pm on 27 August 2011 in the Town Hall.  Further information is available under Future Productions.

-  Quiz Night in the Royal Hotel on Tuesday 6th September.

-  Players performed our 3 SCDA One Act plays, ‘Sorry Wrong Number’. ‘The Hunt for Aiken Drum’ and ‘36 Orange Flowers’ in April at the Town Hall.

-  The SCDA One Act Play Festival 2011 (Perthshire Division)  The Players youth entry (‘The Hunt for Aiken Drum’ by Jonathan Whiteside) won the Perthshire District Cup as runners up in their section.  Well done to them and to Pamela Howat for her first journey into directing.

-  The Players 2010 pantomime finally took to the stage in January 2011 after the  postponement brought about by the atrocious weather around the original dates. We performed  ‘Snow White and the Magnificent Seven’  and reviews of the show were very favourable. Fun was had by all participants too!

- Lifetime membership of Blairgowrie Players was recently granted to the Rev. G. Stuart Young in grateful thanks for his many years as a great stalwart and supporter of the group.  The award was presented by Andy Clark, a well known Scottish actor and former member of The Players, along with Graham and Ruth Reid and Lesley Fernando.

-  The A.G.M. Of Blairgowrie Players took place on Tuesday 6th July, 2010 to a small audience.  Details of the new committee can be found on the About Us Page.
